As a Principal Account Executive, you will be a key player in creating and capturing new business, building and owning a pipeline, and shaping the future of our SaaS tax and compliance solutions.You will thrive on hunting and winning new opportunities, engaging with senior decision-makers across Finance, Tax, and IT, and positioning our solutions as a strategic enabler for transformation and efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESNew Business & Territory GrowthIdentify, qualify, and pursue new enterprise and mid-market opportunities in UK & Ireland
Build a strong sales pipeline and convert opportunities into revenue
Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans aligned with ambitious growth targets
Lead full-cycle sales processes for enterprise SaaS tax and compliance solutions
Understand customer business challenges and position our solutions as transformative tools
Sell solutions based on business value, operational efficiency, and risk reduction
Engage senior stakeholders (CFOs, Heads of Tax, Finance Directors, CIOs) to drive strategic conversations
Navigate complex decision-making structures and influence multi-stakeholder buying processes
Support customers in articulating business cases and ROI for investment in tax technology
Partner with Pre-Sales, Consulting, and Customer Success teams to develop targeted campaigns and strategies
Collaborate with ERP/system integrator partners to uncover new opportunities
Represent the company at events, workshops, and industry forums to generate awareness and leads
Proactively identify market trends, emerging needs, and potential white-space opportunities
Drive innovation in your territory by experimenting with new sales approaches and messaging
Act as a key contributor to our European expansion strategy
7+ years of enterprise or mid-market B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in tax, compliance, or financial software
Proven success in hunting, creating, and closing new business opportunities
Experience selling to Finance, Tax, or IT stakeholders at senior levels
Strong understanding of ERP-driven organizations (SAP preferred) and tax technology landscape
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with autonomy and accountability
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Achievement of ambitious revenue and pipeline targets in UK & Ireland
Creation of new high-value enterprise opportunities from scratch
Recognition as a trusted advisor and key contributor to European growth
Strong collaboration with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to maximize impact
