The Account Executive is a client-facing, direct sales role responsible for revenue generation, partner relationship and Equifax engagement within our FinTech vertical and Specialty Finance clients. The Account Executive must orchestrate other company resources efficiently to drive sales and revenue growth of a full Equifax solutions portfolio.
What you’ll do
- Build and Maintain Trusted Partnerships: Foster long-term relationships with economic buyers and decision-makers, positioning Equifax as a "trusted advisor" through consistent value delivery.
- Consultative Engagement: Deeply understand client business models to anticipate needs and position optimal, semi-complex solutions across the full Equifax portfolio.
- Performance Reviews: Lead account strategy and conduct periodic business reviews to ensure alignment between customer imperatives and Equifax solutions.
- Full-Cycle Sales: Drive the end-to-end sales process, from aggressive pipeline development and RFI/RFP responses to closing opportunities.
- Growth Strategy: Define and execute sales strategies that maximize revenue growth and profitability across the entire customer/partner lifecycle.
- Contract Management: Lead negotiations, handle contracting, and ensure ongoing contract compliance.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Mobilize and coordinate internal Equifax resources (pre-sales, solution experts, and delivery teams) to advance opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborative Planning: Direct account strategy and planning motions with cross-functional teams to streamline the delivery of complex solutions.
What experience you need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of related B2B sales experience, including the following:
- Demonstrated experience managing the full sales-cycle from initial contact to close
- Conducting effective product demonstrations to showcase and articulate the value proposition for the customer, their role, and the solution
- Developing compelling proposals and value-based selling strategies
- Negotiating small to mid-sized deals
- Ability to maintain accurate customer relationship management (CRM) system data, contributing to effective tracking and management
- Creating detailed account and territory plans to maximize sales opportunities
- Conducting comprehensive research on prospects to identify potential leads
- Successfully leveraging a complex matrixed environment to achieve business objectives
- Executing renewals to maintain existing client relationships
- Tracking activity metrics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement
- Maintaining a high volume of activity effectively

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $89,020.00 to $111,000.00. This position is also eligible for our sales incentive compensation program at approximately 55%. The application window is anticipated to close on August 3, 2026.
