Responsibilities:
- Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, working in close collaboration with colleagues and using organizational skills
- Identify and work with media; research, compile, and analyze client media coverage; develop and maintain media contact lists; and pitch stories to targeted media to raise client profiles and shape public and investor perceptions
- Contribute to the creation of communications plans and materials, ensuring quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of sustainability and social impact trends and share knowledge with others
- Manage workload to meet deadlines, keep senior project leaders apprised of status, and produce high-quality internal and external communications content
- Plan and facilitate client events and recognition programs
- Support executive positioning strategies and thought leadership initiatives
- Produce industry research and analysis to provide insights into business opportunities and sustainable impact
- Participate in new business efforts including research, proposal and pitch preparation
- Provide client service administration support; attend meetings, handle scheduling, logistics, notes and follow up actions
- Supervise staff junior to you by motivating, coaching, and providing feedback
- Build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year post-grad professional experience in communications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (public relations, corporate communications, English, advertising, journalism, business, marketing, environmental science, environmental studies, sociology, political science) or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have previous professional services or agency experience
- Have strong knowledge of more than one of the following: corporate sustainability, brand purpose, social impact platform building, climate change, DEI, ESG, partnership building, philanthropy, stakeholder engagement, global development in a communications setting
- Knowledgeable about social impact and sustainability topics
- Have a solid grasp of basic public relations and social media tools and how they are used
- Able to create relationships with traditional media
- Possess solid research, writing, and editing skills, with proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Demonstrate excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative, curious, and adaptable to change
- Possess solid time management skills to balance your workload across account teams; able to deliver quality work to deadlines
