About the role

Job Type: Full-time

The Account Executive, SMB will join our Houston-based team to support business growth through lead generation, management of small accounts, and sales execution. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate with an interest in Oil & Gas technology and a desire to build a career in sales. We are looking for a client-focused individual who works well in a fast-paced environment, preferably who has a technical background in geosciences.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive lead generation activities by tracking permits, rigs, and industry trends to identify prospective SMB customers.
  • Manage a portfolio of small accounts, including renewals, quotes, invoicing, check-ins, and basic onboarding.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and support early-stage customer adoption.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline tracking using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Technical, and Support teams.
  • Build strong client relationships to support retention and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Develop a solid technical understanding of ROGII’s multidisciplinary software solutions.
  • Consistently work toward sales targets and business growth goals.
  • Other tasks related to all above.

    Requirements:

    • Recent college graduate or early-career professional.
    • Exposure to Oil & Gas and/or SaaS preferred; a geoscience or geology degree is a strong asset.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
    • Interest in sales, technology, and the energy industry.
