Office Environment:
This position is based in our Durham/RTP, NC office for applicants in and around Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, and surrounding areas. Our office is located just off I-40 on Miami Blvd. 

You are expected to be in the office three times per week, with higher frequency toward the end of each quarter.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Targeted Business Development: Execute lead generation, prospecting, and sales activities within your territory by researching the market, identifying prospects, and qualifying opportunities.
  • Networking & Partnerships: Build and maintain a professional network, including prospects, market partners, and industry influencers, to amplify ServiceTrade’s values and extend our reach. Foster strong relationships with C-suite and owner-level stakeholders, positioning our solutions as vital to their operational success.
  • Operations: Leverage CRM and sales technology to maintain accurate records of interactions and execute well-organized sales strategies.
  • Prospecting: Identify and engage potential customers, guiding them through the sales process. Work with Client Success Management teams to expand our solutions' usage and impact.
  • Travel: Limited travel is required, though you may attend trade shows, conferences, or visit client sites as needed.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Professional Experience: 1-3 years in a sales role, ideally within a software company.
  • Achievement: A track record of meeting goals, whether professional, academic, athletic, or within the community. You learn from challenges and continuously refine your approach.
  • Communication: Strong ability to engage with prospects and communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats.
  • Soft Skills: Quick learner with problem-solving abilities. You think critically, adapt to new challenges, and support customers throughout their journey.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience selling into our industry or a related field is desirable.
  • Education: A college degree with strong academic performance is preferred, though equivalent professional experience is also valued.

Competitive Earnings: Start with a competitive On-Target Earnings (OTE) package, including uncapped earning potential for top performers. Additional incentives include periodic Sales Performance Incentive Funds (SPIFs) and spot bonuses for exceptional contributions. Accelerators are available for exceeding 100% of your quota.
