We're looking for a talented Small Market Account Executive to further our mission to help every student harness the power of the written word by securing new K-12 school district customers. You’ll have the opportunity to build a book of business, leveraging high engagement from individual teachers and schools to craft and close multi-year deals at the building, district and network level. 

In this role, you will:

  • Demonstrate the value of NoRedInk to key stakeholders at both the school and district levels and drive contracts to close
  • Represent NoRedInk in your territory, develop deep customer relationships, and build a network of potential clients
  • Become an expert on the ed-tech trends and challenges within the states in your territory and partner with marketing/SDR teams to build GTM strategies that uniquely position NRI to win business at scale in those states
  • Partner with marketing on a local events strategy to drive business in your territory
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals, uncover new leads and strategies to apply an account-based approach to the territory
  • Develop a deep understanding of the school and district decision making processes in your territory, identify barriers to close and how to navigate them
  • Manage your sales pipeline and ensure data integrity in Salesforce and Outreach to maintain forecast accuracy
  • Develop mastery of the NoRedInk solution and the competitive landscape

About You:

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably SaaS sales and/or Education Background
  • Bonus if you’ve sold gov-tech, ed-tech, or deployed ed-tech in a school or district
  • A track record of hitting and exceeding quota
  • Demonstrated ability to identify/secure net-new business and retain/expand strategic relationships
  • Experience using Salesforce and sales engagement solutions like Outreach to optimize sales performance
  • Availability to travel within your assigned territory as needed

Compensation at NoRedInk is robust and includes a full range of benefits, unlimited PTO, monthly coworking stipends, an initial home-office set-up stipend, and generous equity. Our salary ranges are based on factors such as expectations as laid out in the job description, internal parity, and individuals' experience and skills. Therefore, the on-target compensation range (OTE), inclusive of base and sales bonus, is $110,000-$125,000.
