Summary of Role
Are you a digital sales trailblazer ready to drive growth and close deals?
We're looking for an experienced and results-driven Digital Sales Professional to join our dynamic Account Executive team. This is a sales-first role-your primary focus will be on generating revenue, closing deals, and expanding opportunities with a select group of media partners.
What You'll Do
- Drive Revenue Growth: Own and manage the sales cycle from start to finish, identifying opportunities, pitching solutions, and closing high-value deals.
- Be the Deal Closer: Partner directly with media teams as a sales expert and trusted advisor, driving revenue by offering innovative digital solutions.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Engage with key stakeholders to uncover untapped potential and craft customized proposals that meet partner needs while achieving aggressive sales targets.
- Focus on Sales Execution: Collaborate with partner sales teams to develop strategies that expand their market impact, keeping your efforts laser-focused on growing revenue-not account maintenance.
- Lead with Data: Provide Directors and the VP of Sales with clear, actionable insights into revenue performance, sales activity, and growth opportunities.
Denver Office Requirements
This team operates in the office Monday through Thursday, with work-from-home Fridays.
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel 25%+ to partner markets.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy
- Spearhead strategic revenue growth for a curated portfolio of media partners, focusing on identifying untapped opportunities and optimizing digital sales pipelines.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that drive measurable results and exceed revenue goals for both the company and our media partners.
Sales Execution
- Act as an extension of our media partners' sales teams, engaging in regular, high-impact calls to discuss pipeline opportunities, deliver winning pitches, and close deals.
- Collaborate with partners to proactively grow revenue, ensuring a focus on securing new business and maximizing existing opportunities.
- Produce sales-focused performance reports, including RFP and revenue reports, quarterly business reviews, and churn analyses to inform strategies and support decision-making.
Sales-Driven Communication
- Internal Communication: Share actionable insights and collaborate with internal teams to align on sales priorities and enhance performance.
- External Communication: Engage directly with media partners, presenting compelling, easy-to-understand digital solutions that help close deals and grow client portfolios.
Reporting and Analytics
- Provide weekly updates to the VP of Sales on partner revenue, pipeline health, proposal activity, and immediate growth opportunities.
- Deliver in-depth monthly and quarterly analyses that highlight key revenue trends and shape future sales strategies.
Proactive Problem-Solving
- Troubleshoot sales and campaign-related issues, working quickly to resolve challenges that could impact revenue.
- Document best practices and create scalable solutions to ensure faster resolutions and stronger sales processes moving forward.
Team Contribution
- Contribute to our company's rapid growth by sharing innovative ideas and strategies to accelerate revenue and scale our operations.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Over 5 years of experience in digital sales, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Expertise in pitching and closing digital solutions that deliver measurable results for clients.
- A proactive, sales-forward mindset focused on driving growth, building relationships, and delivering impactful results.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Ability to meet travel requirements
Location Information
This role is required to be located near our Denver, CO office. This team operates in the office Monday through Thursday, with work-from-home Fridays.
Compensation
Compensation for this role is a combination of salary and bonuses, targeting a total annual compensation range of $90,000 - $130,000. The salary range is $65,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience. The bonus structure will be tied to the achievement of revenue & retention targets for a select group of partners and advertisers.
