Overview:
Are you ready to make an impact? Our Purpose team is seeking a fearless, collaborative Account Executive with a passion for helping companies make lasting social and environmental positive impact. This is a unique opportunity to work with several high-profile clients and fabulous colleagues to do meaningful work. The ideal candidate is a project manager extraordinaire, a strong writer, pays close attention to detail, curious about new topics and full of positive energy.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a day-to-day client contact; continually foster client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients
- Play key role in planning and implementation of account activities, including special events, media events, media relations, social media, desk-side briefings, program implementation, etc.
- Effectively develop full range of written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, reports, etc.
- Continually build understanding and knowledge of clients' business and competitive environments; apply this information in preparing and presenting client communications
- Develop an understanding of research methods, coordinate internal and external resources
- Be flexible and facilitate teamwork within account team while fully utilizing agency resources to create the "best teams" for your clients
- Be adept at managing teams, managing cross-functionally and managing up
- While experience working in the area of social or environmental impact communications is preferred, a passion for the specialty is a must!
Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
- Two to three years of communications experience in a public relations agency, nonprofit, consultancy or in-house setting
The salary range for this position is $62,500 - $68,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data.
