Who are we hiring?

This role will proactively pursue new business for Sphere targeting corporations and high net worth individuals primarily focused on single event suite rentals for Sphere Experiences. The ideal candidate has experience of developing new business opportunities, achieving, and exceeding sales targets and overcoming the challenges that arise with outbound prospecting in a challenging sales market. The Account Executive will work with the other Premium Team members to service the clients on the suite levels and continuously foster their relationship with Sphere. 

What will you do? 

  • Develop and implement sales strategy to achieve revenue targets. Conduct market research to identify potential premium suite and hospitality clients. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and VIP guests to ensure high levels of service and potential for repeat business. 
  • Maximize new business revenue generation for Sphere through year-round efforts to sell single event suites for all Sphere Experiences.  
  • Responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting clients, closing the and continued service for upsell opportunities.  
  • Execute new business campaigns through multi-channel outreach, consultative sales meetings, presentations, and diligent follow through.   
  • Negotiate agreements while maintaining accurate and clean data in MSG’s Salesforce and Ticketing Systems. 
  • Work closely with legal, finance and the solutions teams to ensure compliance and accuracy of contracts.  
  • Foster positive, cooperative internal relationships with departmental co-workers as well as key inter-departmental contacts.  
  • Work with Premium Hospitality Team, Service & Retention team as well as other departments on a regular basis to assist the operations and servicing of the suite clients, to ensure service expectations are exceeded.  
  • Any additional responsibilities assigned by management. 

What do you need to succeed? 

  • 4 + years’ experience in sales, sports or entertainment field is preferred.   
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Sports, or Marketing or related field.  
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Archtics Ticketing Database and Microsoft Office. 
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with VP/Director Level Executives.  
  • Passionate and enthusiastic with excellent organizational and time-management skills 
  • Proven ability to identify and engage business prospects across various industries including potential new corporate and personal clients. 
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and adaptability. 
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends and some holidays in alignment with the Sphere events schedule.  
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and adaptability as an Account Executive or other similar sales role.

Pay Range

$70,000$75,000 USD
