Based in Paris, with frequent travel across North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, etc.).
Main Objectives:
The Sales Manager for North Africa will drive revenue growth by developing and managing the company’s SaaS solutions across the region. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, expanding the client base, and maintaining relationships with key accounts, particularly in fast-growing sectors such as technology, finance, and enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Development:
• Identify and prospect new clients, focusing on industries with high SaaS adoption potential (e.g., finance, retail, telecommunications, etc.).
• Create and implement a sales strategy tailored to the North African market, ensuring alignment with the company’s global SaaS sales objectives.
• Engage in lead generation activities, including networking, attending industry events, and leveraging digital marketing tools.
• Conduct market research to identify potential growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
2. Sales and Customer Management:
• Manage the full sales cycle of the company’s SaaS products, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and IT decision-makers.
• Present and demonstrate SaaS solutions through webinars, demos, and in-person presentations.
• Tailor proposals to meet the unique business needs of each client and provide ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Track and report on sales metrics (pipeline management, conversion rates, revenue growth).
• Regularly update the CRM system with client information, sales activities, and follow-ups.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the regional or global sales leadership.
4. Collaboration and Partnership Development:
• Collaborate closely with the Product, Customer Success, and Technical Support teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding process.
• Work with the marketing team to create region-specific campaigns and sales enablement materials.
• Identify and develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the company’s SaaS presence in North Africa.
5. Customer Success and Upsell Opportunities:
• Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding, training, and adoption of the SaaS solution.
• Monitor customer usage and satisfaction levels to identify upsell opportunities, renewals, and potential churn risks.
• Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess their satisfaction and drive additional value through complementary services and upgrades.
6. Representation at Events:
• Represent the company at relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
• Organize and participate in local or regional SaaS-related events, product launches, and training sessions for clients.
Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, technology, or related field. Specialization in IT, software, or SaaS platforms is a plus.
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales role within the SaaS, software, or technology industries.
• Proven track record of managing the full sales cycle in complex B2B environments, ideally in North Africa.
• Experience working with enterprise-level customers and managing key accounts in sectors such as finance, retail, or telecommunications.
Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models, cloud computing, and subscription-based sales.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts and deals simultaneously.
Languages:
• Fluent in English and French; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
