About the role
The Account Executive, Mid Market - SLED role at NinjaOne is responsible for closing new business by selling NinjaOne's products to our largest and most strategic prospect accounts in the SLED space. NinjaOne AEs spend 100% of their time engaging with interested prospects, managing sales cycles to help potential customers evaluate our product, and closing revenue. No prospecting, as we leave that to our world-class SDR and marketing teams. This role will contribute significantly to the success of NinjaOne. You will be responsible for closing warm leads for large, strategic accounts and helping NinjaOne win within the State & Local Government and Higher Education (SLED) segment.
Location - Austin, TX - Hybrid (in office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday - plus additional days as required)
What You'll be Doing

  • Qualify prospective accounts to build and maintain an up-to-date pipeline of prospects in order to achieve annual sales goals.
  • Become a trusted guide on NinjaOne's products and conduct discovery calls, presentations, and product demos with prospects.
  • Negotiate opportunity terms, discounts, and implementation with leadership approval for below-threshold discounts.
  • Manage sales cycles to help potential customers evaluate NinjaOne's product and closing revenue.
  • Accurately forecast opportunities in Salesforce to hit or exceed a monthly quota in a defined territory.
  • Navigate the sales process aligning to SLED prospects and budget to revenue forecast.
  • Other duties as needed.


About You

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5+ years of quota-achieving sales experience selling SaaS is required.
  • 3+ years of experience selling specifically into SLED
  • Experience selling to Mid-Market and larger prospects
  • Experience selling IT Operations software or similar solutions preferred.
  • Polished communicator with the ability to build rapport and credibility in order to influence prospects and close new business.
  • Engaging and technical, you can deliver a demo that is meaningful to business users and technical audiences.
  • You have confirmed negotiation skills, are a self-starter, and a strong closer with a history of successful over-quota performance
  • Well-organized with a proven ability to multitask, carrying on multiple deals simultaneously to close
  • Works well with a team
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
