We seek a visionary and results-driven account executive to focus on sales in the energy sector and help propel our solution deeper into the industry. Location: Calgary, Alberta, with regular travel expected to service the Texas-based Energy clients.
About You
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for our Energy sales efforts, you will support our company's overall revenue and customer acquisition strategy and execution, which focuses on aspects of the energy industry, from traditional upstream, midstream, and downstream Oil and Gas, to clean energy, waste management, and services companies. We believe passionately that the strongest minds are necessary to service the energy needs of the future, and we believe software technology like ITRAK 365 will play a pivotal role in enabling organizations to make that change. You will participate in sales, events, and business development efforts, focusing on bringing in new logos. Your strategic vision and hands-on leadership within opportunities will be crucial in taking our growth to the next level.
What You'll Do and How You'll Make an Impact
- Drive enterprise sales initiatives, leveraging your expertise to win and expand key accounts.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify new
- growth opportunities.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders from our prospect base and
- ecosystem of partners.
- Co-sell with large vendors like Microsoft and System Integrators from our Partner
- programs.
- Serve as a thought leader in designated accounts, lead initiatives that unlock value and
- drive growth
- Consult on business strategy, provide technology recommendations and offer an
- integrated technology stack through ITRAK 365’s professional services.• Quickly understand client business & technical requirements , and align consulting
- solutions to their needs.
- Propose and execute on recommendations that contribute to the success of the client’s
- business.
- Manage all business development activities throughout the sales cycle
- Stay ahead of customer needs and make strategic recommendations based on industry
- trends, standards (reference architecture) and top solutions
What You’ll Need
- 10+ years experience as a Senior Account Executive, covering complex enterprise cloud-
- based software sales in the Energy industry.
- Proven track record in enterprise solution selling and managing complex sales cycles.
- Hunting First attitude – be entrepreneurial and laser-focused when it comes to customer
- acquisitions.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, processes, and methodologies.
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, a data-driven decision-making approach,
- and a strong interest in innovation.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Nice to have: understanding of Microsoft enterprise products, including Power Platform,
- Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
