Job Summary:
Are you a results-driven sales professional ready to make an impact in the K-12 education sector? As an Account Executive focused exclusively on net-new business development, you’ll spearhead our efforts to bring Securly’s cutting-edge solutions to new school districts across the Central region (Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and the Dakotas). Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and delivering dynamic demos to closing deals and building lasting relationships.
This remote role involves 20-30% travel within your territory, giving you the chance to connect directly with decision-makers and celebrate the wins of bringing new clients on board. Key Performance Objectives:
First 30 Days:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Securly’s product suite through comprehensive training and self-guided learning.
- Build rapport with internal stakeholders to understand key business opportunities.
First 90 Days:
- Launch a business development plan targeting K-12 school districts with enrollments up to 20K, leveraging leads from SDRs and marketing while driving proactive prospecting.
- Close your first deals to establish early momentum.
First 6 Months:
- Aggressively grow your territory, achieving at least 50% of your annual revenue target by securing new business.
- Forge relationships with school districts, channel partners, and service organizations to strengthen your market presence.
First Year:
- Exceed your annual revenue goal by employing strategic, tailored sales approaches that align with client needs.
- Lead multiple product evaluations and proof-of-concept trials, ensuring high conversion rates and lasting client satisfaction.
