 Edge AI is seeking an Account Executive (AE). The AE will be responsible for converting qualified leads into customers, managing strategic accounts, and developing relationships with channel partners. You will play a critical role in driving revenue and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position offers a clear path for advancement, with the opportunity to transition into a Sales Manager role based on performance.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Lead Conversion: Take ownership of sales-ready leads provided by SDRs. Engage with prospects through calls, demos, and meetings to understand their needs and effectively present our subscription hardware solutions.
  2. Sales Closure: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to deal closure. Utilize consultative selling techniques to address client needs, overcome objections, and secure contracts.
  3. Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic accounts. Ensure high levels of satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  4. Channel Partner Management: Develop and manage relationships with channel partners to expand market reach. Identify potential partners, negotiate agreements, and ensure effective collaboration to drive sales.
  5. Client Engagement: Provide exceptional service to new and existing clients. Address their needs and tailor solutions to meet specific requirements.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with SDRs to understand lead context and history. Provide feedback on lead quality and collaborate to improve lead generation and qualification processes.
  7. Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our subscription hardware products and the competitive landscape. Use this knowledge to position our solutions effectively.
  8. Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and conversion metrics. Provide regular updates to the Sales Director on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  9. Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs. Use this knowledge to identify potential opportunities and contribute to sales strategy development.

 Qualifications and experience for success:

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in closing deals for subscription-based products or services. Experience in hardware sales is a plus.
  • Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to close sales, manage sales cycles, and achieve quotas. Proficiency in consultative selling and objection handling.
  • Account Management: Experience in managing strategic accounts and maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Channel Management: Experience in developing and managing relationships with channel partners is desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work effectively with SDRs and other team members in a collaborative environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70K-$80K

OTE: $110K-$120K

Commission: $30K-$50K
