The Role

 

Aptum is a global Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Cloud Service Provider (CSP) that supports client’s multi-cloud initiatives across Azure (an accredited Microsoft Azure Expert MSP), AWS, and GCP. Aptum’s cloud capabilities are underpinned by our consulting practice, which provides clients with platform engineering capabilities of cloud native applications and DevOps and FinOps expertise.   • This is a new logo sales role generating net new client acquisitions/sales in midmarket and enterprise-level accounts through strategic planning, lead generation, and leveraging channel partnerships.  
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently exceeding sales targets through effective account management and customer engagement.   
  • Craft compelling sales propositions that align with our technical solutions, bringing to the table your insight into cloud native, platform engineering, and DevOps trends and their relevance to the market.  
  • Foster enduring relationships with decision-makers and influencers, from technical experts to C-level executives, establishing trust and credibility.   
  • Stay attuned to industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs to guide the evolution of Aptum's product offerings and strategic sales approaches.   
  • Serve as a thought leader and advisor, providing input on Aptum’s cloud service strategies based on your interactions with clients and understanding of the broader market.  

 

 

  • A seasoned IT sales professional with at least 5 years of enterprise sales experience in the cloud or application platform space, adept at acquiring new logos and driving business growth.   
  • Experience working within your geographical territory for at least 3 years.   
  • Success in selling Platform Engineering-related offerings to the VP and C-Level. 
  • Skilled in navigating midmarket and enterprise-level organizations, with a keen eye for recognizing and seizing untapped opportunities.   
  • Known for your result-driven approach, with a history of quota attainment and a reputation as a new business hunter.   
  • A channel sales virtuoso with success selling through and with the Channel / Partners.  
  • An autonomous go-getter, self-motivated, and able to foster client relationships remotely while contributing to a cohesive team environment.  
  • Educated with a bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
