Account Executive, B2B

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our Spokeo for Business team. This remote-based position is designed for a self-starter with a proven track record in B2B sales. The successful candidate will understand, promote, and sell our investigative solutions across sectors, including debt collection, law enforcement, and real estate. The role aims to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base while building long-term executive relationships.
What You'll Do - This includes an estimate of where time will be spent. This is subject to change:
Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to sales targets, customer acquisition, and retention.
50% - Generate new business opportunities, both inbound and outbound, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing as well as the sales pipeline.
10% - Regularly conducts demos and presentations to prospective clients at client locations, trade events, and industry conferences.
10% - Visit customer sites on a regular basis to engage with customers about their industry, business challenges, and needs
10% - Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including regular in-person presentations and project meetings at client locations.
10% - Coordinate with the marketing and product teams to fine-tune messaging and product offerings.
5% - Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
5% - Conduct market research to understand competitors and market trends.
Requirements:
- You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Spokeo is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of one’s employment visa at this time.
Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience
Strong understanding of the debt collection and skip-tracing industries
Proven track record in achieving sales targets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Negotiation and problem-solving skills
Strong cold calling and outbound sales skills are required
Strong consumer skiptracing or due diligence skills are desired
Self-starter with strong organizational and multitasking skills
Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or HubSpot, OutReach, and sales analytics tools
4 year business degree preferred
20-35% domestic travel to client locations and industry events.
