Account Executive, AVP
What can you expect?
The Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of a portfolio of captive clients, consisting of single parent captives, group captives and reinsurance companies. This person will develop and foster long-term strategic relationships with a portfolio of clients and is responsible for retaining, servicing and expanding clients. This will be an established, independent individual contributor, whose work has a direct impact on team success.
We will count on you to:
Collaborate with the Marsh Cayman team to provide comprehensive service solutions that meet exceed the client's needs and function pertaining to regulatory compliance by clients.
Prepare or perform technical review of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
Manage the financial audit process for clients with the auditors
Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, other service providers, regulators and colleagues.
Coordinate timely and knowledgeable responses to questions and requests from clients.
Participates in and coordinates client meetings, including presenting at Board Meetings.
Assist Marsh colleagues in relation to fee budget, fee negotiations & expansion of services to clients; and assist colleagues in the preparation of licence applications for new insurance companies, developing relationships with prospects and new clients.
Participate in local and global Marsh working groups with regard to various pertinent projects, including best practices working groups.
What you need to have:
Internationally recognized professional accounting qualification with public accounting experience (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CA etc.).
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with an insurance manager or in the insurance industry.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to Board of Directors at meetings in both Cayman and elsewhere (requiring travel outside office hours).
Experience in relation to final reporting under US GAAP and IFRS
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team, willingness and ability to work outside regular office hours.
