What You'll be Doing:
- Own and grow a greenfield Australia territory, identifying and closing new business opportunities across multiple industries
- Prospect through a variety of channels (outbound, inbound, referrals, events) and convert leads into qualified opportunities
- Lead full-cycle sales motions, including discovery, value positioning, stakeholder alignment, negotiation, and deal closure
- Engage with R&D, IP, legal, and business leaders, tailoring value propositions to diverse stakeholder needs
- Build early market insight by identifying verticals, use cases, and buyer personas with the strongest traction in Australia
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting using a data-driven sales approach
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and KPIs
- Develop deep expertise in Patsnap’s platform and the broader innovation intelligence / IP software landscape
About You:
- 2–3+ years of full-cycle (360) SaaS sales experience, ideally in solution or consultative selling environments
- Proven track record of exceeding new business targets
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, high-autonomy environments, with the ability to build a territory from scratch
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Experience managing longer or more complex sales cycles is a plus
- Background in IP, innovation, R&D tools, data platforms, or adjacent B2B SaaS industries is advantageous but not required
- Familiarity with or strong interest in the Australian market is highly valued (e.g. prior experience selling into ANZ or being Australia-based previously)
- Self-motivated, resilient, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership
- Team-oriented and comfortable collaborating across functions and regions
