Job DescriptionVisa is looking for a results-driven, tech curious Account Executive with a passion for value-based solution selling. In this role, you will sell the entire portfolio of Visa solutions, define accounts strategies and align the necessary resources to deliver your account plans, while building strong client relationships. Qualified candidates will possess a proven track record of building strong internal and external relationships and a relentless drive to excel in sales.
Key functions:
- Support and execute account strategy, annual plans, manage client relationships, and coordinate sales and post-sale resources like Specialist Sellers and Client Success Managers.
- Support key sales motions across different sales and support functions (Specialist Sellers, Sales Engineers, Client Success Managers, etc.)
- Support upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts identifying compelling value propositions that address customer needs
- Support new business development and expansion of existing accounts by identifying client pain points
- Support pipeline management, new sales opportunities, negotiations, and deal closing
- Support client incentive and business renewals.
- Support and execute territory plans to increase sales and market share within existing accounts.
- Drive operational efficiencies and orchestrate other supporting teams to ensure maintenance and improvement of portfolio performance.
- Demonstrate understanding of the payments landscape and technology solutions to implement creative strategies to grow Visa’s business.
- Foster productive relationships at all levels with clients and the Visa organization.
- Participate in sales meetings and training activities.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date account information by maintaining rigorous CRM data hygiene and adherence to data management best practices.
- Safeguard data integrity and compliance with Visa Policies.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) University Recruiting Only: Master’s Degree without experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- Proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction.
- Curiosity to learn and execute effective sales strategies for new payment solutions
- Ability to develop, lead and close complex competitive sales efforts
- Strong analytical skills and a knack for strategic planning
- Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives with efficiency, professionalism and with demonstrated trouble shooting/problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence and ability to effectively create and deliver presentations to all audiences up to the executive levels
- Demonstrated understanding in Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and data-driven decision-making, with a strong ability to apply emerging trends to influence client strategy and business outcomes
- Ability to coordinate internal and external resources and nurture cross functional relationships
- Ability to negotiate business agreements and enhance existing and new relationships
- Demonstrated understanding of financial indicators to measure business performance and an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision making
