ResQ is looking for an SMB Account Executive to join our sales team and help take ResQ to the next level. As a team that drives the majority of net-new 💰revenue, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. You’ll play a key role in building lasting partnerships with commercial trades operators across North America, helping them grow while shaping the future of the industry.

  • You’ll be one of the first sales reps in the state, helping bring a clear vision and roadmap to life as we disrupt the commercial trades space.

  • You’re energized by connecting with commercial trades businesses, understanding their needs, and helping them grow.

  • You know the reality, there will be more “no’s” than “yes’s” but your drive and resilience keep you pushing forward. You see each conversation as part of the process of building something meaningful, and that’s what motivates you.

What you will do:

As an Account Executive at ResQ, you will be one of the first reps to sell our AI powered growth engine for Trades, focusing initially on commercial SMB operators.

  • Outbound Sales: 💰We’ll ask you to help deliver a predominantly outbound sales strategy by taking ownership of the entire sales cycle generating leads, qualifying, conducting product demos, onboarding and closing. You’ll be most successful if you are metrics driven and relentless in the pursuit of exceeding your targets.

  • Calibrating for Market fit: 💡We’ll give you the raw materials but there is a need for you to bring ideas to the table - we’ll ask you to experiment with different "out of the box" ways to gain access, build trust, overcome objections and create urgency with the goal of generating and closing deals

  • Building Relationships: 🫶We’ll ask you to be the face of ResQ in your zone by creating and honouring close relationships with our customers. We’ll ask you to contribute to our customers receiving the best experience.

  • Feeding back Market Intelligence: 💬We’ll rely on you to share on-the-ground market and customer insights to help make ResQ’s offerings and sales strategy stronger. The team is all ears as we move into and localize our offerings!

Who you are:
You already know sales involves lots of patience and persistence - and we know that years of Sales experience can be an imprecise proxy for success at a start-up. So we’re open to different paths - we’re looking for attitude first and we can train for the skills - we’ll focus on transferable skills so we want to ensure that you are ready to start this next chapter of your career with us!!!

  • 2+ year(s) experience in an outbound sales cycle in a fast growth environment

  • Comfortable communicating with commercial trades businesses including staff, owners, and executives.

  • Employ a data and metric-driven mindset with a deep dedication toward achieving both your own and the company's targets

Nice to haves:

  • Deep understanding of sales processes and the importance of moving opportunities through the funnel

  • Experience in the restaurant industry or technology marketplaces would be considered an asset

  • Knowledge of Josh Brauns sales academy
