Our role
As the Account Director, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new customers for our Information Intelligence products. You will devise and implement strategic sales plans, identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts and co-ordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions to meet our Customers’ needs.
This role reports to the Regional Director, EMEA Sales & Customer Success and is an individual contributor with no people management responsibilities.
A day in your role:
- Identifying a strong network and develop relevant industry contacts and influencers.
- Finding and developing key new business opportunities, working in conjunction with our local and corporate marketing teams
- Achieve annual revenue targets for sale of software and professional services.
- Develop appropriate pipeline to achieve current and future years quota (s) through personal prospecting and effective marketing programs.
Your skills, experience and beyond:
- Strong business development skills, be able to work the provided leads as well as identify and qualify new opportunities
- Outstanding sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experienced in one or more of the vertical markets of relevance, all levels of government, utilities, regulated industries.
- Expert in Solution Selling, Strategic Selling or Challenger Selling methodologies.
- Demonstrable experience of Influencing both customers and partners at a senior level
- Min 10 years in an IT/software industry environment.
- Be able to work autonomously and as an effective part of a team.
