 What will you be doing?

Managing a portfolio of strategic, top-tier clients, you will build strong partnerships, helping clients maximise the value of Circana's services. You will identify opportunities to grow revenue, influence key business decisions through actionable insights, and deliver meaningful commercial outcomes for both the client and Circana.

Job Responsibilities
 
Strategic Client Partnership
 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across a portfolio of strategic clients.
  • Position yourself as a trusted partner, moving conversations beyond reporting and observation to actionable recommendations and business impact.
  • Create and execute joint business plans that drive mutual growth for both clients and Circana.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand client engagement and deepen adoption of Circana's solutions and capabilities.
  • Support commercial discussions, contract renewals, and growth initiatives across your client portfolio.
Insight Generation & Storytelling
 
  • Own and grow relationships with a portfolio of top-tier clients.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and develop action plans to strengthen engagement and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery of projects, reporting, and client commitments.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of client objectives, priorities, and evolving business needs.
 
Thought Leadership & Continuous Improvement
 
  • Act as a voice of the client within Circana, sharing feedback and market perspectives that contribute to product and service innovation.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging retail dynamics, and the evolving FMCG landscape.
  • Champion best practices in insight delivery, data storytelling, and client engagement.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years' experience in FMCG, retail insights, category management, market research, consulting, account management, or a related client-facing role.
  • Deep understanding of the New Zealand grocery, pharmacy, or broader retail landscape.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience using syndicated data, panel data, retail measurement, or consumer insights platforms is highly regarded.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience building client-ready presentations and recommendations.
  • A curious, proactive mindset and a passion for helping clients grow their business.
