The Role
Manage complex banking accounts and drive retention, growth, renewals, and revenue. Develop and execute sales strategies, identify and close opportunities, lead customer negotiations, create customized proposals, and build executive relationships. Advise internal teams on critical account issues, monitor sales metrics, and develop thought leadership and best practices. The role requires direct banking sales experience, consultative solution selling, relationship management, and up to 20% travel.

Drives revenue generation and identifies and closes new opportunities within current customer accounts. Facilitates and leads customer negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial results.   • May retain ultimate responsibility for account retention, growth and renewal for a large country or across multiple countries within an assigned area.
  • Collaborates with management to ensure Account Management objectives are aligned with and support strategic business goals, marketing initiatives, product development, etc.
  • Provides account sales advice and support across the company to address and resolve complex, significant and business critical issues.
  • Engages with customer senior leadership to understand strategic objectives, business priorities and where / how DN can help.
  • Applies client understanding to propose and sell new products and services.
  • Monitors client sales metrics to identify trends, progress and best practices.
  • Packages best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies and published assets to help with account sales going forward. Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • Must be a Direct Sales professional with a strong Banking Sales background
    • Graduate with equivalent work experience required.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Account Management.
    • Good business English skills (Written and spoken) 



      Preferred Qualifications


    • Comprehensive knowledge of Banking Branch procedures and the utilization of technology within the environment.
    • General knowledge of Diebold Nixdorf products and services is a plus.
    • Knowledge of Software and Service solution sales would be advantageous.
    • Proven success in high quota carrying position.
    • Consultative sales experience with complex solution design is desired.
    • Exhibit skills, characteristics, traits and work habits that greatly enhance the likelihood of success as an Sales Manager, ex: solution-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, time and territory management, customer empathy.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, strategic planning, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Demonstrated relationship building skills at all levels of the organization, including senior executive levels.
    • Proficient in all MS Office products with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.
    • Possess experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce to maximize opportunities.
    • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
