About Us

For over two decades, The Boundary has been at the forefront of digital excellence. With a global team of 150+ experts across London, New York, Dubai, and Auckland, we partner with the world's leading developers to deliver unparalleled architectural storytelling.

Founded by award-winning architects, our work sits at the intersection of design intuition and technical mastery. From pioneering digital twin infrastructure to the seamless integration of AI and real-time technology, we don’t just anticipate the future of the industry; we are already building it.

The Opportunity

The strongest client relationships do more than sustain great work. They create the trust, clarity and commercial confidence that allow ambitious ideas to move forward.

At The Boundary, we partner with leading developers, architects, real estate businesses and global brands to bring places and ideas to life. Our Account Directors sit at the centre of those partnerships - understanding what matters to the client, aligning the right internal teams and ensuring that every interaction strengthens the relationship.

We are looking for an experienced Account Director to lead a portfolio of high-value accounts across the GCC region. This is a senior client leadership role with clear accountability for relationship health, retention, account growth and service excellence.

What we're looking for

You are a strategic account leader who combines excellent judgement with strong commercial instincts. You understand how to build trusted, long-term relationships while identifying the opportunities that create genuine value for both the client and the business.

You are comfortable working across complex, multi-service accounts and high-profile projects. You can move confidently between long-range account planning, commercial discussions, delivery oversight and urgent issue resolution without losing sight of the wider relationship.

Clients trust you because you listen carefully, communicate clearly and follow through. Internal teams trust you because you translate client priorities into focused, achievable plans and advocate for the relationship without compromising delivery quality, capacity or process.

You are also an experienced people leader. You know how to mentor client-service professionals, give useful feedback and raise standards while creating the confidence and clarity people need to perform at their best.

What You'll Do

Lead strategic client relationships. Act as the senior strategic lead and primary point of contact for a portfolio of key accounts, developing a detailed understanding of each client's objectives, stakeholders, priorities and long-term opportunities.

Build account plans that deliver growth. Own relationship planning, support client tiering and identify well-timed opportunities to retain, expand, cross-sell and upsell services within existing accounts.

Shape commercial opportunities. Partner with Business Development and regional leadership on proposals, pitches and commercial discussions, ensuring opportunities are well scoped and aligned with client needs and business priorities.

Provide delivery governance. Work with Project Management, Production and Creative leaders to ensure briefs are translated into clear, achievable plans, risks are identified early and strategic deliverables remain aligned with expectations.

Resolve issues with pace and judgement. Take ownership of client concerns and escalations, establish clear resolution plans and maintain trust through professional, transparent communication.

Create continuity from pitch to delivery. Support the onboarding of high-value projects and ensure the Client Services function is properly represented in project timelines, resourcing and creative-development conversations.

Develop the Client Services team. Mentor Senior Managers and Managers across multiple accounts, contribute to onboarding and training, and provide clear feedback that strengthens commercial awareness and service quality.

Improve how we work. Champion consistent use of systems, SOPs and shared templates; identify process gaps; and lead post-mortems or service audits that turn project experience into practical improvement.

Maintain accurate account intelligence. Track account health, engagement, feedback, opportunities and risks, ensuring information is complete, current and visible to the relevant leadership teams.

What You'll Bring

Substantial senior client-services experience. Typically eight or more years in strategic account management or a comparable client leadership role, with responsibility for significant, complex accounts.

A proven record of account growth. Evidence of retaining and expanding key relationships, identifying commercially sound opportunities and contributing to successful proposals or pitches.

Experience in a relevant environment. A background in a creative, advertising, architectural, real estate, SaaS or related professional-services business. Agency or creative-production experience would be particularly valuable.

Strong commercial acumen. Confidence discussing scope, budgets, value and delivery trade-offs, with the judgement to balance client priorities against operational and commercial realities.

Executive-level communication. Excellent presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to lead high-stakes conversations and build credibility with senior decision-makers.

Delivery understanding. A practical knowledge of project-delivery workflows and the ability to work effectively with Project Management, Production, Creative and Finance teams.

People leadership. Experience mentoring colleagues, providing performance feedback and improving capability across a client-services team.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach. You are tenacious, organised and accountable, absorb new technical and industry knowledge quickly, and respond constructively to feedback.

Relevant education or equivalent experience. A bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Real Estate or a related field is preferred, but substantial relevant experience is equally important.
