What You Will Be Doing:
- Sell our suite of primary and secondary research products and services, pitching to executives and their teams’ onsite
- Maintain and grow existing account relationships within an assigned portfolio
- Negotiate and close contracts and deliver industry-leading renewal rates
- Leverage client relationships to grow accounts by securing additional products or services to achieve a growth target
- Create account business plans specific to assigned portfolio
- Identify new champions by networking throughout the organizations to increase revenue streams
- Deliver creative business solutions to prove ROI on a monthly or quarterly basis to aid in the renewal and enrichment process
- Drive consultancy projects within the portfolio by identifying gaps in region and recommending potential solutions by testing with the Consultancy teams to see if they’re viable – i.e. use as a test market for new options
- Deliver accurate forecasts to sales management
- Effectively utilize Mintel’s sales database CRM system (Salesforce.com)
- Consistently deliver exceptional sales results against target
Who We Are Looking For:
- A Practitioner: You should have at least 8 years of sales success, with a focus on account management, a track record of selling consultancy solutions to the C-suite and/or Senior leadership level. You possess and apply practical and technical skills, knowledge, and experience related to sales and customer services.
- Consultative Sales and Research Knowledge: You are able to digest clients’ requests and translate their business needs into actionable research projects ideas.
- Client-Obsessed: Your clients are your number one priority and developing trust and rapport are at the forefront of your mind at all times. You are driven by bringing the right solutions to their business to elevate their brand.
- Commercially-minded: You have a proven track record of delivering return on investment and achieving sales targets.
- Great communicator: You have extremely polished verbal and written communication skills, and can adapt your communication style to suit each client, your team and across teams.
- Short and long-term focused: You have an understanding of the immediacy of winning this month’s team sales results, while making the appropriate adjustments to ensure the same for the next 6-12 months.
- Creative problem-solver: You are able to identify complex problems based on a broad range of factors. You also are able to develop & implement optimal solutions. You establish key results, you track learnings and you embrace continuous improvement.
- Team Oriented: You are a team player who is focused on the broader good and the success of the organization. In this spirit you are also comfortable providing and receiving feedback, so that we are all able to continuously learn & improve, together

The below reflects the range of base salary for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and qualifications. The salary range for this role is: $120,000 USD to $150,000 USD.
