As an Account Coordinator, you are responsible for helping drive sales and retention by
maintaining effective relationships with Plan Sponsors, Agents, Brokers and/or
vendors. You will be the single point of contact for administrative service requests and
day-to-day client inquiries. You will leverage your expertise in plan design, and IMS
systems and processes by providing service and solutions to our clients.
Duties and responsibilities
Provides analysis and decision making for successful resolution of customer complaints,
complex service issues, issues with financial impact and decisions to deviate from
established policies and procedures; build strategy with internal partners if it is
determined the customer is At Risk.
Consistently provide high level of client service while communicating and coordinating
with client, partners and internal departments to address all service issues and provide
necessary research, problem solving and resolution support.
Successfully monitor and follow-up on assigned items, including determining appropriate
action for resolution of client issues, documenting, communicating and implementing
solutions as appropriate.
Provide clear and concise communication regarding overall client service expectations as
well as procedures and time frames to client and partners related to questions that
require further research and analysis.
Ensure proactive communication with the client and partners regarding all components of
service delivery. Solicit and share feedback with appropriate internal resources.
Participate in department initiatives to increase efficiencies, decrease cost and document
changes in processes and procedures.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Oversee daily administration of plans as well as any plan sponsor requested plan or fund
changes.
Coordinate timely delivery of 5500 and non-discrimination testing results to clients and
consultants.
Provide plan audit support for clients and ensure all filing deadlines are met.
In conjunction with the Plan Document Team, provide plan document maintenance and
review support to clients.
Provide plan administration efficiency and consultative advice to clients.
Coordinate with all areas of the organization based on the needs of the client.
Demonstrate ultimate accountability for client relationship.
Provide plan reviews in conjunction with the Renewal Team at mid-year, annually and
when requested for all clients.
Effectively communicate updates to clients compliance requirements in conjunction with
Plan Document Coordinator support.
