Summary
To perform basic accounting procedures in support of the overarching goals of the department.What You'll Do
- AP Duties including entering invoices, vendor inquiries, statement review, address book requests.
- AR Duties including invoicing, customer inquiries, statement review, AR collections.
- Month-End Closing entries, reconciliations, and report. Includes BS Reconciliations, Inventory and RNV reconciliations, Monthly reporting to includes GP by Customer Summary, Inventory Agings.
- Item Master setup and understanding Manufacturing and cost accounting, Variances, LCNRV.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Review and update processes to ensure they are followed, and most efficient processes are used.
- Other duties and projects as needed.
What You Need
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and typically 1-3 years of work experience. Willing to substitute experience for education. Cost accounting experience preferred. Basic Excel experience required.
