Position: Account Coordinator

Department: Sales

Work Location: 6700 Century Avenue, Mississauga, Canada, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)

Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.

What you will be doing:

Assists in execution of Sales Strategy & performs daily execution of sales and customer needs. Supports sales management team for specific customers and/or channels. Proactively Problem solve & find opportunities.

  • Work with manager to recognize what results are meaningful – and what steps need to be taken to achieve them. Focuses first on the desired job outcomes, and then adds the tasks or duties vital to accomplish those outcomes. Separate larger goals into smaller actions. Try time-saving methods. Regularly track your progress.
  • The tactical expert at customer's processes, timelines, portals and outstanding characteristics. Proactively review account(s) progress with manager. Internal voice of the consumer's needs to implement a plan. Help complete line reviews and collection information from internal HELE teams.
  • Working with manager to understand Customer related problems. Working with your Manager, RMO or BUs to solve basic problems
  • Acting in the absence of direction. Seeing what needs to be done and acting without prompting. The ability to transform opportunity into action by being creative, proactive, and conclusive
  • A highly organized person tends to have common organized personality traits that allow them to complete tasks quickly and stay focused at work. Writing things down makes them easier to remember (task, meeting notes, action items). Has a system for handling information. (spreadsheets, aps, calendars)
  • Own all pre and post tradeshow duties including shipping and logistics, product ordering, print materials, design invitations, coordinator of new product, and budgeting of the trade show expenses overall.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 + years in related experience
  • Consumer Goods experience
