We are looking for someone with a keen interest in media to join our Client Team as an Account Assistant!

Purpose of the Role


In this exciting role, you will provide proactive support across the account team, most specifically to Account Executives and Account Managers, helping with the day-to-day running of the accounts, campaign delivery, reporting, research and financial administration. This role covers our key iProspect clients, including DFDS, Shiseido and Hiscox.


What you’ll do


Account Management


  • Provide proactive support across the account team, particularly to Account Executives and Account Managers, helping to deliver multiple workstreams accurately and on time.
  • Action small campaign requests under supervision and support specialist teams with campaign delivery once plans are approved.
  • Support the day-to-day administration of client accounts, keeping folders and files up to date and managing client status reports.

Relationship Management:


  • Support Account Executives and Account Managers with general client liaison and administration, providing clear and timely updates.
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with specialist teams, including AV, Digital, Search, Social and OOH.
  • Organise meetings and room set-up, prepare materials, distribute agendas, attend meetings and circulate accurate minutes and actions.
  • Attend all relevant training sessions and media owner presentations to build knowledge of the media landscape.

Finance & Budget Management:


  • Support accurate financial delivery by raising purchase orders, maintaining PO trackers and checking budgets against planned activity.
  • Understand and apply client terms of business, helping to ensure accurate media schedules and invoices are supplied to the client.
  • Support timely reconciliation and chase outstanding invoices to help ensure prompt payment.

Reporting Oversight:


  • Collate client performance data and support the production of clear, accurate reports.
  • Monitor performance against forecast, identify anomalies and escalate issues promptly to the relevant team member.
  • Use research tools to gather data and insights for competitor reports, media industry trends, live requests and client presentations.

Communications Planning:


  • Use research tools to create and review target audience insights and contribute data to client presentations.
  • Support the Account Manager in translating audience and media consumption insights into holistic media mix recommendations that deliver against client objectives.
  • Support Account Managers and specialist teams in developing detailed plan recommendations and executing plans once approved.
  • Develop a basic understanding of key media channels and the performance metrics used to assess client activity.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint confidently and accurately.
