Under the guidance of the Account Executive, the Account Analyst handles the annual account renewal process and delivers value-added service to our clients.

JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinating the Renewal Process with the Team

  • Collects and Organizes Renewal Information Exercises independent discretion and judgment in interpreting loss runs and preparing /updating loss summaries.
  • Creates a Submission Document to send out to the insurance marketplace for renewal insurance quotes.
  • Helps prepare charts/exhibits for “Pre-renewal” Meeting.
  • Participates in quote negotiations, including independently analyzing and interpreting policy coverages and endorsements, pricing, and other terms and conditions to get the best result for the client.
  • Creates account income forms and Pricing Pages.
  • Reviews renewal insurance certificate templates and finalizes other items as part of the insurance renewal.

Servicing the Client

  • Conducts contract reviews, including but not limited to analyzing insurance requirements in light of existing coverage, developing bid rates, reviewing indemnification agreements in the preparation of contract review letters.
  • Processes and dictates money and non-money endorsements and audits.
  • Maintains pendings by following-up on the issuance of policies and endorsements.
  • Updates working exposures schedules.
  • Projects Experience Modification Factors (mod) and reviewing rating calculations. Identifies classification codes and rates and verifying policy rating.
  • Coordinates the issuance of Certificates of Insurance, reviewing the requested wording and understanding the impact of additional insured and primary/non-contributory wording.
  • Develops and maintain relationships with insurance company underwriters and client contacts.
  • Responsible for all billing activities in the unit including: Invoicing new business, renewals and money endorsements/audits.
  • Coordinating installment billing.
  • Correcting billing differences with insurance companies.
  • Obtaining premium financing quotes and completing financing agreements.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3+ years of work experience (insurance, business, accounting, paralegal background) or relevant education experience.
  • Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment to research and analyze problems and develop a solution.
  • Must be focused and detail-oriented.
  • Holds required and appropriate insurance agent’s license.
  • Good time management, organizational abilities; multi-tasking abilities.
  • Show initiative and drive demonstrated by being able to work independently and being a self-starter; ability to independently exercise the judgment required to develop the solution—problem solver.
  • Good written, oral communication and analytical skills are essential.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, be poised under pressure.
  • Proficient in Graham standard computer applications.
  • Regular and predictable attendance in accordance with the limitations and reporting procedures established by The Graham Company from time to time.
  • Employees are required to be fit-for-duty which includes not being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. This includes any drugs that might impact an employee’s ability to safely perform their job

The applicable base salary range for this role is $59,900 - $78,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
