About the role
Based in our GCC Hubs, the WorkDay Application Capability Centre is a key part of Haleon’s Tech strategy towards delivering changes to our critical Workday landscape. The team comprises of inhouse and outsources resources and work together in delivering Workday Technical and Functional changes that enable Haleon to meet our Consumer’s needs.
We are seeking for a Workday Functional Specialist with relevant experience in Absence Management module and provide contributions to core HCM to manage the change request delivery and continuous improvement of our Workday platform, encompassing Workday-related requests and changes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in Workday with a solid knowledge of HCM and Absence management, with a blend of technical and functional skills. This role will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, delivering change request/project , and ensuring that the Workday platform aligns with our organizational objectives. Exposure to other HR workday modules will be additional advantage.
Role Responsibilities:

Design, configuration, and customization of Workday Absence management and HCM to meet specific business needs.

Collaborate with HR Business stakeholders to gather business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and actionable Workday solutions.

Assist with testing and deploying Workday updates and enhancements.

Participate in system audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
-
Document processes and provide training to end-users to ensure system adoption.

identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve efficiency and system stability.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, security protocols, and data privacy regulations in all Workday activities.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

8+ years of experience in Workday with strong functional and technical knowledge of Workday Absence Management (configuration knowledge is required).

Solid knowledge managing Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) related tasks.
-
Experience managing data, system configuration, and customization within Workday.
-
Proficiency in problem-solving and delivering timely solutions.

Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering solutions that align with business goals.
Preferred Qualifications:

Workday Absence Management certification is highly desirable.

Exposure in Hands-on knowledge in any of these Workday areas is a plus: Talent & Performance and Recruitment.

Familiarity with data security, compliance, and governance as it pertains to HR and financial data.

Experience in a large, global organization or a consulting environment.
