Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces and civilians deployed around the world under KBR’s Strategic Army Portfolio.  KBR’s enduring mission support of the DoD Armed Forces dates back to 1992 when we served as the Army’s original prime contractor for its Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP). Today, we have a workforce of ~5,000 people representing 30 nationalities who perform work in 10 countries.  Under the Agriculture Cleaning and African Swine Fever (ASF) Sanitization (ACAS) contract; KBR will manage and perform the receipt, storage, maintenance, cleaning and sanitation of vehicles and property.

Job Summary

As an Operations Coordinator, you will support program reporting and data management, by ensuring accuracy and organization within the management portal. You will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and analyzing data to produce Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) and respond to ad hoc requests.

Please note: This position will be located on-site, in multiple countries across the Eastern EU and is contingent upon award.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manages calendars, tracks projects, and schedules appointments and meetings efficiently using templates.
  • Drafting and editing meeting minutes, documents, and communications, as well as coordinating the onboarding process for new employees, maintaining records of personnel training and certifications.
  • Supports the prioritizing, coordinating, and managing responses to ACAS CSRs.
  • Supports the implementation of work control procedures, provides updates on scheduling, and assists in preparing and updating reports, including labor accounting and project management plans.
  • Coordinates of kick-off and monthly status meetings.
  • Supports development of other deliverables as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years to be eligible for this position.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of directly related experience. A High School Diploma and an additional 3 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.  
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
  • Must be a highly organized self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined team environment to manage competing priorities to achieve goals.
  • Must be familiar with the Operations Desktop Operating Procedures (DOP), including but not limited to: Employee Messages, Incident Reporting Requirements, Crisis Management Action Team, and Situation Report.
  • Requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.).
  • Proficient in producing professional internal and external communications.
  • Service Order / Customer Service experience and use of Maximo system.
  • Experienced in using SharePoint.
  • Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • One year of previous Operations Specialist experience or equivalent Military experience.
  • Capable of working with and developing Power BI Dashboards.
  • Knowledge of Appian system.
