Position Summary:

The Academy Content Coordinator is an integral part of the Academy Content Strategy team, responsible for managing projects to completion, coordinating with resources, conducting research and educational writing, maintaining and contributing to current content, and collaborating cross-functionally. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can effectively manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Project and Process Coordination:
    • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
    • Proactively collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to gather requirements and provide content solutions.
    • Coordinate with Academy and other Pax8 resources to ensure smooth execution.
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
  • Partner-Facing Content Creation:
    • Develop high-quality training materials tailored for diverse audiences, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.
    • Translate complex business and technical best practices into engaging and digestible formats such as written guides, instructional videos, and interactive eLearning modules.
    • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure content aligns with strategic goals and partner needs.
    • Conduct thorough reviews and updates of existing materials to maintain relevance and applicability.
  • Upkeep and Content Management:
    • Maintain and update existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
    • Conduct research and contribute to educational writing to support content development.
    • Regularly audit the Learning Management System (LMS) to identify outdated or redundant resources, updating or retiring content as needed.
  • Ad Hoc Project Work:
    • Support cross-functional initiatives by providing content expertise and assisting with the creation of specialized materials or resources.
    • Participate in pilot programs, beta testing, and feedback sessions to iterate on new tools, platforms, or methodologies.
    • Assist in addressing immediate partner or internal training needs that arise outside of planned schedules.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least two (2) years of proven experience in project management, preferably within a content strategy or digital learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Learning Management tools (e.g., Docebo) is preferred but not required.
  • Effective resource management and deployment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate partnerships.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, adept at translating complex technical and business concepts into clear, engaging content for various audiences.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Capacity to balance multiple tasks and be self-directed.
  • Adaptability to ambiguous or uncertain situations.
  • Proficiency in synthesizing complex information to effectively solve problems.
  • Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality educational content.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $57,000 to $70,000 or more depending on experience.
