We are seeking an experienced clinical psychologist to join our Clinical Psychology Doctorate (ClinPsyD) programme team as Academic Coordinator. Supported by a dynamic team, you will be as committed as we are to clinical psychology training and responsible for academic leadership of the taught element of the programme. You will also contribute to teaching, research supervision of ClinPsyD research projects, and personal tuition of trainees.

You will join a forward thinking and enthusiastic ClinPsyD team involved in the delivery of first-class professional training for postgraduate clinical psychology trainees. The successful applicant will be a valued member of our programme team, providing leadership to the academic tutor team, working closely with the programme director, clinical practice and research coordinators. As academic coordinator on the ClinPsyD programme, you will work as part of the team delivering the UKs only integrated undergraduate to Postgraduate clinical psychology training programme.

The successful applicant will be based in the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Psychology and Social Work, which is a vibrant and interdisciplinary School delivering high quality teaching and research in Psychology, Social Work, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Clinical Psychology.

The salary is paid at NHS agenda for change scale band 8c and the role is working 0.6FTE (please note that the salary stated above is the full time equivalent).

Skills Required

  • Experienced clinical psychologist
  • Academic leadership of taught programme modules
  • Teaching and lecturing experience in clinical psychology or related subjects

  • Ability to lead and coordinate an academic tutor team and collaborate with programme leadership
