The Role

Title:  AC Planning Analyst

 
Duties/Responsibilities:
1.    Demand Planning Management

  • Analyze historical sell thru data and industrial data, conduct the PSI meeting and work with the Sales team, Business Planning team, Product Marketing team and some other stakeholders to make sure the sell thru/sell in forecast/demand is reasonable, satisfy the demand from different channels with reasonable inventory.

2.  Supply Planning Management

  • Long-term plan and key resource management, work with the stakeholders to work out the reasonable rolling 6/12-month plan, work with HQ, Mexico Factory, Thailand Factory and Europe Factory to make sure the long-term resource and capacity is supporting the plan, fix the issues if any.
  • Rolling Plan management, timely and accurately update on the rolling plan based on the demand, work with HQ, Mexico Factory, Thailand Factory to make sure the resource, production capacity, shipping capacity/resource can support the plan.
  • Internal order placement, following the internal order process to issue the internal order to the factories, create the purchase order into SAP system and arrange the payment for some vendors if necessary.
  • Incoming plan maintenance, weekly update the estimated incoming based on the material shipping schedule and production schedule in different overseas factories.

3.  Fulfillment Management

  • Production follow up, work with the China Factory, Thailand Factory on long-term capacity planning and short-term production plan to make sure the production can be finished on time to support the product shipping schedule and satisfy different customer orders in different location via different trade mode (FOB/DDP/CIF etc.)
  • Work out the shipping plan of moving products from Thailand Factory to US DCs, need consider the DC network and the allocation for different customers in different DCs. Monitor the execution of the shipping plan, evaluate and continuously improve Production Planning Conformance.
  • Work with Logistics team to track the shipping, including shipping from China, Thailand to make sure the products can be delivered to the DCs or customer DCs on time.

4.  Inventory Management 

  • Inventory simulation: based on the sell in forecast and incoming plan, work out the inventory simulation plan, figure out the potential risk, alert the risk and work with the stakeholders to fix the risk to make sure the inventory turnover is reasonable.
  • Abnormal inventory management: monitor the abnormal inventory monthly, weekly and daily, work with the Sales, Business Planning and Logistic team to ensure there will be no abnormal inventory.
  • Channel inventory analysis: analyze the channel inventory based on the sell thru, from both turnover and absolute number standpoint to manage the channel inventory to ensure the inventory turnover is reasonable.

5.  Process and tool optimization

  • Continuously improve the end-to-end process, work with the Process Management team and IT team to introduce and implement the efficient process and IT tools.

6.  Payment Settlement in GRS system


Qualifications/Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Finance or relevant field.
•    2-5 years’ experience with global sourcing and supply base management position criteria, demand planning, inventory planning, or production or manufacturing operations.
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel SAP System knowledge and experience.
•    Excellent prioritization and time-management skills, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and adjust work accordingly.
•    Great interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Critical thinker, good team player, and result oriented problem-solving skills.
•    Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
•    Communicate in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
•    Proficient with analyzing data.
•    Good analytical, communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
