Above the Wing (LMN)

1. Accountabilities
A. Reports to ESO/SH.
B. To be accountable to Ramp Supervisor or equivalent.
C. To meet the arrival of the aircraft, to do load/unload as per requirement. Instruction and cargo acceptance/clearance.

2. Responsibilities
A. Ramp Services
i. Sort baggage at the sorting area.
ii. Check serviceability of Ground Equipment.
iii. Offload and load baggage, cargo and mail at the aircraft.
iv. Discharge arrival baggage at correct carousel.
v. Joining bags are loaded into the correct flight.
vi. Transit bags are correctly sorted at the aircraft side during transit.
vii. To make sure baggage, cargo and mail are protected from the rain during inclined weather condition.
viii. To ensure that all plastic sheets are properly kept and not left lying around at the apron area.
ix. Deadload is sorted and loaded into the correct flights.
x. To report to officer of any hazard, incident or accident occurring during ramp activities.
xi. To ensure the standard set on handling of passenger baggage, safety and security of customer airlines operation is maintain.
xii. To clear FOD at ramp before arrival/departure of aircraft.

B. Cargo Acceptance and Clearance
i. To ensure that all joining cargo/mails are scanned by Aviation Security or manually check by acceptance staff.
ii. To ensure that all cargo/mails are properly packed.
iii. To issue Airway Bill (AWB) for cargo acceptance.
iv. To ensure offloaded cargo/mails to be returned to shipper immediately.
v. To ensure all acceptance cargo for said flight are manifested.
vi. To ensure correct Cargo weight is reflected on the cargo manifest.
vii. To ensure cargo and mail are as per incoming cargo manifest.
viii. To ensure release of cargo are acknowledging receipt by consignee.
ix. To ensure all incoming cargo/mails must be clear daily.
x. To ensure acceptance and clearance of cargo is as per company requirement and regulatory requirement.

C. Load sheet (Station MZV, LDU, LMN and STOL Port)
i. To compile weight and balance document for aircraft and ensuring that the Safety of the aircraft is always within the allowed weight and trim.
ii. To calculate zero fuel weight (ZFW) for respective flight.
iii. To plan loading instruction and ensuring that aircraft trim is within the allowed limit as per weight and balance manual.
iv. To ensure that loading of permitted dangerous goods as per Table 2.3A planned as per IATA and company’s requirement.
v. To monitor respective flights and ensure that all limitations with regards to weight and balance are within the required limit.
vi. To compile all related flight documents and ensure the same are complete and presented to the crew in charge.
vii. Ensure on time departure of all flights.
viii. Ensure weight and balance conforms to company regulations and limitations.
ix. To dispatch LDM manually when required.
x. To compile flight documents consisting of loadsheet, loading plan, fuel chit, NOTOC, cargo and passenger manifest where applicable and filed in respective file.
xi. To advise on offloading of deadload in the event that the aircraft is overweight/space constraint.
xii. For station such as MZV, LDU and LMN certified staff will handle both Above the Wing and Below the Wing roles and responsibilities.
xiii. Certified and licensed load sheeter must produce manual load sheet once a month.

D. Ramp Handling Non-Technical (RHNT)
i. Chocking and removal of chocks of Aircraft wheel.
ii. Position and remove safety cones in hazard areas, forward of propellers.
iii. Marshalling of aircraft.
iv. Manual operation of an electrically or hydraulically operated cargo door.
v. Install and remove Tail Prop.
vi. Identify and report external damage.

E. Multitasking is required staff will handle both Above and Below the Wing roles and responsibilities.

F. Any other assignment as maybe reasonably assigned by the superior.

3. Authority
A. Authority to report safety and security incidents and/or accidents.
B. Make decision that ensures policy and procedural compliance and accountability for the safety and/or security of ground operations.

4. Delegation of Duties
Not applicable for position Below the Wing.
