O Marinheiro de Convés é responsável perante o Contramestre / Oficial Supervisor por:
- Desempenhar funções de vigia e timoneiro durante os quartos de navegação no passadiço
- Executar trabalhos de manutenção e outras tarefas operacionais conforme necessário
- Auxiliar nas operações de amarração, quando requerido
- Adotar práticas seguras de trabalho
- Realizar rondas de Segurança e Proteção conforme instruído pelo Contramestre / Oficial Supervisor
- Responder aos Oficiais de Convés pela manutenção de um quarto de convés seguro e por garantir que a embarcação permaneça devidamente amarrada
- Auxiliar nas operações de carga (incluindo limpeza de tanques e varrição), conforme solicitado pelo Imediato (Chief Officer) e/ou pelo Oficial de Quarto
- Executar quaisquer outras tarefas ou atribuições conforme instruído pelo Contramestre / Oficial Supervisor

Skills Required
- Perform lookout and helmsman duties during navigation watches
- Execute maintenance and other operational deck tasks as needed
- Assist with mooring operations when required
- Adopt and follow safe work practices
- Conduct security and safety rounds as instructed by supervisor
- Maintain a safe deck area and ensure vessel remains properly moored
- Assist with cargo operations, including tank cleaning and sweeping, as requested
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Bosun / Officer Supervisor
