Work Overview

We are looking for an ABA Operations Coordinator to join our team and help us ensure the smooth operation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs. The ABA Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing authorizations, intake, conducting caregiver tours and other administrative tasks. The ABA Coordinator is also responsible for providing 1:1 implementation of ABA if/when needed. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with patients implementing plan designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), if/when needed
  • Collect and maintain accurate data and clinical notes utilizing data collection software
  • Obtain and maintain insurance authorizations for ABA services
  • Ensure timely submission of authorization requests and follow ups
  • Maintain up to date records of authorizations and related documentation
  • Collect and verify personal, insurance an medical information
  • Verify insurance coverage prior to patient or client appointments
  • Conduct informative and and welcoming tours for prospective clients and their families
  • Provide detailed information about our ABA services and the benefits of therapy
  • Provide customer service to caregivers and staff
  • Provide assistance with scheduling session visits for clients and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)/Behavior Technician BT)
  • Complete additional administrative tasks when needed

Requirements

  • Active RBT certification
  • Active CPR/BLS Certification
  • High school or bachelors degree
  • Knowledge and experience in ABA practices
  • Knowledge of authorization process
  • Great customer service skills
