The AAS Tax Seasonal Processor will support the preparation and handling of Forms 1099. This includes data entry, preparing forms through software, and assembling client packages.
Responsibilities
• Retrieving information from QuickBook files
• Inputting information into excel templates
• Running templates through Tax1099.com software
• Assembling client packets
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the practice
Requirements
• Working towards accounting/finance degree, preferably at a junior or senior level
• Previous office/professional work experience preferred; accounting experience strongly preferred
• Attention to quality, with an eye for accuracy and detail
• Strong data entry and computer skills, specifically with Excel
• Ability to work both independently as needed or collaboratively with team
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
