SUMMARY OF DUTIES
This position provides advanced management, implementation, administration and training of specific Application Systems projects and functions worldwide.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
1. Assesses and plans system needs for one or more of the following departments:
• Regulatory
• Accounting
• Human Resources
• Customer Service
• Sales
• Marketing
• Engineering
• R&D
• Purchasing • Planning
• WIP
• Inventory
• Logistics
• Quality
• Document Control
• Legal
• Finance
2. Develops and establishes worldwide systems, standards and department training & procedures.
3. Designs and prepares reports, data miners and performs data analysis.
4. Designs and implements system training for new department employees.
5. Trains department employees on new Merit systems.
6. Responsible for implementing standard Merit systems at new Merit sites.
7. Creates and manages department training tools and reference materials.
8. Troubleshoots and manages incidents for Merit systems.
9. Performs advanced configuration, setup, and updating of applications and access control.
10. Sets up business user accesses.
11. Recommends changes in applications development, maintenance and system standards.
12. Performs other related duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field.
• Six years of system design, analysis and training, preferably in the department assignment.
• Three years of project management experience.
• Ability to train others on complicated computerized systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strongly prefer a general knowledge of the medical device industry.
• Ability to work with others effectively to analyze problems and implement solutions.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve problems.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Ability to track and follow up with problems, tickets, etc.
• Demonstrated computer skills with spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
