Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and management of control systems, including SCADA and DCS, to automate processes such as mixing, heating, and cooling.
  • Ensure real-time monitoring of manufacturing processes to maintain optimal conditions and quickly detect deviations.
  • Manage data acquisition from sensors and machines to provide insights into performance and production metrics.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, optimize processes, and predict equipment failures, leading to proactive maintenance and reduced downtime.
  • Ensure OT systems support compliance with regulatory requirements, such as FDA regulations, by maintaining accurate documentation and traceability.
  • Implement automated quality assurance systems to monitor critical parameters and ensure products meet stringent quality standards.
  • Facilitate real-time tracking of materials and products to enhance inventory management and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with enterprise systems (such as ERP) to improve integration between manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Monitor environmental conditions to ensure they remain within safe limits, protecting both workers and products.
  • Develop automated alerts and reporting systems to enhance incident management and minimize risks.
  • Monitor energy consumption in real-time to identify areas for improvement and contribute to sustainability efforts within manufacturing plants.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in operational technology, process automation, or a related area.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA, DCS, and other control systems.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards, particularly in manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation:

  • The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,000 - $3,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
  • Preferred Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).
  • This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
  • The talent will work HYBRID allocated at our client.
