$27.75 - $37.46The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
General Purpose: In an inpatient setting, remains accountable for provision of direct care to assigned patients. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system. Works as a team member and assists other staff members with implementing patient care. Assumes responsibility of care for assigned patients under the direction of the co-assigned RN or MD. Participates in the plan of care, implements appropriate nursing interventions, and contributes to patient/family education through collection of data, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation and excellent communication.FT position available, D/E/N, 8 and 12 hour shifts, every other weekend and holidays per unit policy.
For those with an interest in working with stroke, epilepsy, and other neurologically-impaired patients, the Strong Epilepsy-Stroke Unit is the place to be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team! Excellent communication skills and ability to work under the direction of Registered Professional nurse in a fast paced environment. Demonstrates problem-solving skills. Acute med/surg experience preferred. Requires a diploma from an accredited LPN Nursing Program and an active New York State LPN license in good standing.
