Who We Are Looking For: 
Phoenix Tailings is looking for a Director of Sales to lead strategic growth initiatives across commercial partnerships, government engagement, and long-term customer relationships. This role is highly external-facing and will play a critical role in shaping how Phoenix brings clean, domestic critical metals to market. You will work closely with executive leadership to identify opportunities, structure partnerships, and convert strategic interest into long-term commercial value. 
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives long-term revenue through multi-year supply and offtake agreements 
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new revenue opportunities aligned with Phoenix Tailings’ growth and expansion plans 
  • Build and manage relationships with customers, strategic partners, and key external stakeholders 
  • Structure and negotiate commercial agreements that support long-term supply, offtake, and strategic collaboration 
  • Represent Phoenix Tailings externally with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders 
  • Develop market intelligence and competitive insights to inform pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy 
  • Work closely with internal teams to translate commercial commitments into executable operational plans 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, commercial leadership, or account management in industrial, materials, or energy markets
  • Proven track record of originating and closing complex commercial or strategic agreements 
  • Experience working with industrial, energy, materials, infrastructure, or government-adjacent markets 
  • Strong ability to build credibility and trust with senior external stakeholders 
  • Experience negotiating and structuring long-term commercial contracts 
  • Strong strategic judgment paired with a bias toward execution 
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment 

We offer a competitive compensation package that is based on expertise. We also offer the following benefits:

    This pay range reflects best estimate for the total cash compensation which includes salary + discretionary bonus for this role. Total package  may vary based on experience and qualifications.
    Pay Range: $140,000- $200,000 total cash compensation plus equity
