Our company is seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer to join our plant operations team.
Shift work, 12 hours- week on, week off alternating days and night. Starting wage $53.66/hour. It also includes $400 a month for Northern Travel Allowance.
The Hasler plant is located near Chetwynd, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own living accommodations during their shift. Transportation is provided to and from the plant from Chetwynd.
Responsibilities
Ensure equipment is used safely, effectively, and efficiently to maximize production and product quality. Particular attention paid to time management, quality of work, and housekeeping.
Ability to understand and operate equipment and all aspects of the plant operation
Must be able to follow company policies, procedures and competency-based training programs.
Timely and accurate completion of all paperwork generated by their daily duties.
Qualifications
4th Class Power Engineering Trade Certification
Heavy Equipment operation experience is an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Safety tickets: H2s Alive, First Aid, WHMIS is considered an asset
Railcar handling experience is an asset
