JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Stand-Up Hilo/Reach Truck Operator to join our team on 3rd Shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a stand-up forklift to move, locate, and stack products efficiently and safely within our warehouse. Attention to detail, safety compliance, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.

LOCATION

Warehouse at HexArmor Headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan

HOURS

This is a newly developed 3rd shift is set to begin operations in March 2025. Employees will undergo approximately one week of training on 1st shift before transitioning. The 3rd shift schedule will be from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate a stand-up hilo/reach truck to move materials and products within the warehouse.
  • Replenish picking locations by moving pallets of product from racking to restock inventory.
  • Maintain inventory by tracking product locations and quantities.
  • Perform routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance needs.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
  • Complete necessary documentation for inventory management and receiving.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience on a Crown stand up hilo/reach truck.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic understanding of inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and operating machinery.
  • Must be able to navigate a warehouse environment safely.

COMPENSATION

Starting at $21.30 per hour, which includes the $1.30 per hour shift premium, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off accrual, and 401(k) matching after one year of employment.
