Dallas IVF, a state-of-the-art clinic offering a wide variety of treatments ranging from basic care to the most advanced fertility technologies, is looking for a 3rd Party Coordinator-RN to join our team! This position is full time, in person, at our Frisco location, with rotating weekends.
Role and Responsibilities
The role of the 3rd Party Coordinator, RN is to insure collaboration and case management for all patients who are utilizing third party services to assist them in their family building goals. In this position there will be high level clinical communication between the physician, embryology lab, attorneys, and third party agencies providing donor egg/embryo/sperm and/or gestational carriers for the practices intended parents. The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Coordinates scheduling and billing for patients monitoring at outside facilities
- Responsible for the intake of potential intended parents and communicating all necessary requirements for use of donor eggs, sperm, donor embryos, and/or gestational carriers
- Direct point of contact for all donors, gestational carriers, and intended parents
- Meets with patients to coordinate upcoming procedures, reviews requirements for donor and gestational carrier eligibility.
- Communicates regularly with physicians, office staff, attorneys, donor agencies, and monitoring facilities throughout the patient’s treatment
- Collects and documents information on potential and current donors, as well as counseling recipients on the egg donor process. This may include but is not limited to: blood tests, in office diagnostic procedures, costs, medical history and evaluations
- Educates patients on IVF procedures, treatment protocols, medication, and injections
- Communicates with provider and patient regarding findings, lab results, and treatment
- Schedules patients for all upcoming appointments
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Qualified personnel should be a high school graduate with a Registered Nurse license in good standing. The individual should have a minimum of 2 years prior experience in nursing, women's service or Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility experience a plus. Applicant must be able to perform all job functions on a computer in the electronic medical records and have a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Outlook
Preferred Skills
Phlebotomy, Excel, Outlook, Word skills all required. Individual also must have excellent communication skills, be patient, empathetic and must possess the ability to work independently and prioritize their workload with direction from the medical director.
