Role Purpose: Support safe navigation and cargo operations in compliance with regulations, contributing to environmental protection, operational efficiency, and high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee safe navigation during watch, execute cargo and ballast operations as directed, and maintain and inspect life-saving and firefighting equipment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
The 3rd Officer should have a solid understanding of company policies, SOLAS, MARPOL, and flag state regulations. Knowledge in bridge operations, emergency procedures, cargo and ballast handling, and the use and maintenance of safety equipment essential. Proficiency in watchkeeping, clear communication, and adaptability to modern technology is required.
Experience: Demonstrates leadership behaviors and reliability as an effective bridge team member, with proficiency in watchkeeping and bridge equipment use. Consistently supports cargo and ballast operations and maintains safety equipment to high standards. Shows a clear commitment to compliance with environmental regulations.
