About the role
As a 3D engineering designer, your mission is to collaborate with Lovepop US & VN design teams to develop concepts, design, and create product prototypes. Ensure that all products released to production match the approved designs. Review and fix issues that occur during the design process. Ensure all work is completed on schedule.
Accountabilities
- Develop and manage master design files.
- Create illustrated assets from concept art passed by US Design, engineering design for each design with final prototype output that aligns with design intent.
- Cost estimation of new design.
- New engineering concepts based on US Design sketches with 3D file output for new product designs.
- Propose materials and production-supporting tools for new products (if any).
- Receive feedback from the US design team and relevant departments, and work together to propose solutions to improve the product.
Qualifications
- College degree or higher in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge and expertise in 3D cards and Kirigami.
- Understanding of model-making techniques and material principles.
- Proficient in relevant software, including Rhino, 3DS Max, AutoCAD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong planning, goal-setting, and effective, well-organized work management skills.
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Comfortable seeking help when needed and supporting others.
