The chosen candidate will be joining the Advanced Visualization & Proposal Services (AVPS) Development team as a junior level immersive content creator and real-time developer. The agile-driven Development team is responsible for supporting Advanced Visualization value streams across the entire product lifecycle, from capture to sustainment. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining interactive immersive applications by 3D Modeling, texturing, animating sequences, and optimizing performance in Omniverse and other real-time tools. The position is onsite. The successful candidate will be required to report daily to one of our Immersive Design Centers in Tucson, AZ; McKinney, Tx; Huntsville, AL; or Andover, MA.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with the development team to create compelling immersive experiences in Omniverse and Unity
- Produce RT optimized hard-surface 3D models and textures
- Contribute to a framework of common AVPS tools
- Support live events and demonstrations, both local and remote, to include engaging internal and external customers
- Planning and estimating work in collaboration with broader team to support Agile project management
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience with 3D modeling using industry standard tools like Maya, Max or Blender
- Experience creating texture sets using Substance Painter, Mari or instaMat.
- Experience with graphics editing composition, motion, and framing strategies

Qualifications We Prefer
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Arts, Animation, or Game Development.
- Enjoys high-paced teams with sometimes multiple, simultaneous projects
- Able to produce a portfolio of real-time optimized content upon request
- Experience with USD and the Nvidia Omniverse platform
- Experience creating or manually converting NURBS geometry to polygons
- Experience with Agile processes and Jira tools
- Experience incorporating art assets in Unity or other RT Engines

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
