We are looking for a Quality Assurance Test Engineer team-oriented and detail-driven who thrives on solving complex challenges.
Requirements
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated test plans to ensure the highest quality standards across front-end and back-end systems. You will play a key role in shaping the reliability and scalability of our modular software solutions built to last.
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive QA test plans, test cases, and testing tools for network inventory management and service provisioning systems.
- Execute manual and automated end-to-end tests for UI frontends using Protractor, Jasmine, and Cucumber.
- Perform manual and automated ReST API testing with tools such as SoapUI and Postman.
- Conduct regression, functional, structural, stress, stability, and system testing to ensure software reliability.
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues encountered during testing phases.
- Design and implement advanced test automation frameworks at both functional and system levels.
- Collaborate closely with developers to align test plans with new feature development.
- Configure and manage test environments in lab settings, including setup, troubleshooting, and demo deployment support.
- Maintain and oversee lab equipment, ensuring optimal setup and configuration.
- Foster a culture of quality, automation, and continuous improvement driven by data and technical curiosity.
Skills:
- Experience with manual and automated testing of network inventory management, service fulfillment, and provisioning software.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Proficiency in Postman, TeamCity, JIRA, and TestRail.
- Understanding of OSS Inventory and Automation domains within telecommunications technologies, including EDI, EPL, EVPL, SDWAN, Dark Fiber, OTT, DWDM/OTN, SONET, MPLS, GPON, FTTH.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Docker, Vagrant, OpenStack, VMware, KVM, and libvirt.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the transport domain is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of Network Management System (NMS) testing is highly desirable.
